-snerk- Okay, apparently more actually at eleven!
Alrigh, so daily webcomic! I have a project comic right now, which is fine--a script I snagged from a fanfic someone wrote and have been breaking down and comicing. And I don't intend to abandon or end it yet (though I'll probably only finish out the first chapter of the fic and then call it done, but who knows), but it's something that I'm being pretty formal on, and it's kinda mopy sometimes. So, I been itchin' to do something, and I feel the need for deadlines to keep my flowing. The more I draw, the more I'll want to draw, and the more I'll draw. Plus deadlines are like magic crack when they're not outrageous. This shouldn't be outrageous, just eventful. So, I'm excited! So, fuck you all, I'm gonna go play with comics!

I...was gonna write about why I go with the name Rev, but I need sleep now. Don't you dare tell me "Sleep is for the weak," either. I'll cut you, bitch. I'll cut you so bad you...you wish I no cut you so bad. So, discussion for a later date. Really though, the more important bit is more important. I know what I said. I've decided I'm gonna start doin' a daily webcomic. "A daily webcomic?" you say. Yes, a daily webcomic. For fun and practice. It'll be free-form and random. AND AMAZING. More at eleven.

Eh-heh...okay, so maybe not so much back as I'm not locked out of the site anymore? As mentioned in the previous update? Eh, screw it, no one's around here anymore anyway.

So, just killed the forum. Not actually killed, I would never do that, but I did disable it. Got sick of getting fifty e-mails a day that another bot had made an account. They couldn't post without admin approval, but I don't have the inclination to wade through them. Again. So, fuck it, closed the forum, and maybe someday will do more with this site and there'll be reason again to open it up. At the very least I'll still be able to go back and re-read old conversations. And marvel over how big of idiots and assholes we all were. GOOD TIMES!
I say this, about the marveling over idiots and assholes, cuz I've already gone back and done it. Sad, sad day, that. Nostalgia hurts.
I really gotta call up WestHost and get the new domain names runnin'. Heh. "Runnin'", "Wind Runner". Awesome. I'M NOT TIRED, WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!? Yeah, I bought "windrunnerstudios.com". And "windrunnermassage.com", actually, for my horse and doggy massage business. Of which I have no customers. So instead I groom dogs. Which I hate. So now I'm going to go to Art Institute and finish out my bachelor's. In Animation, this time. Is "bachelor's" supposed to be capitalized there? No idea. Don't really care, either.
Anyway, even if I don't get off my butt and do more stuff here again, AI'll have me makin' a website in my classes. GUESS WHERE IT WILL BE. YOU GUESSED RIGHT. HAVE A COOKIE. Well, it'll sorta be here. I'm gonna go with "Wind Runner Studios" instead of Dark Wind cuz...it fits me better now. I am no longer dark, gothic, and mopey. I try really hard to not be all whiny. And anyway, the hilarious coincidence of me choosing Wind Runner a year before my fursona (feathersona?) was a roadrunner is too awesome to pass up. Even if I'm the only one who gets the joke and my shifter's nature means my fursona (or whatever term is accurate at the time) can (and does) change at the drop of a hat (I'm an alicorn! Now I'm Sonic the Hedgehog! Now I'm Rev Runner! Now I'm a toon roadrunner named Rev! Now I'm a bunny! Hey! You with the hat! Knock it off!). So, we'll be Wind Runner. Or I'll be. Ah, back to being the entire studio again. Greeeat. Ah well, I'm the one who did stuff anyway. Well, and Parker. He was awesome. Did I ever tell you about the time he set up the forum for us? Or the time he wrote his own news-posty code so we could have comment-able updates here? Prolly not. But he did. And it. Was. Awesome.
Ow. Yep, myth confirmed, nostalgia really does hurt.
Anyway, the only other thing I really gotta say here in this update is that I CHANGED MY NAME AGAIN. Though this time I've been using it for me since June, and have had my friends using it since MFF (that's November), so it should be a keeper for once. No, really. Flicker/Flickerfly was my unicorn name from the Always Believe/To Be Unicorn days (you don't wanna get me started); Tsuki was from high school (variations were "Akaitsuki" and "Kuraitsuki"...hilariously apparently proper Japanese is to use the noun form of your adjective to make a name, not the adjective. Who knew?); then I did Flicker again; then I was Sonic, and trying to come up with a name I could give other people so they wouldn't be douchebags (a battle lost before beginning), so Wind and Spir (short for "SonicSpirit" or "SonicSpirit128", which I still like as a handle); then I discovered the wonders of Loonatics Unleashed, a show that...well, if you wanted to make a show to shout to me personally, "HEY, YOU! PAY ATTENTION!" that would be it (between the comedy/action genre, the Looney Tunes references, the gay undertones in season one between Tech and Rev, the beautiful animation, and the fact that every other techno-babble explanation has the word "Sonic" in it) and was Rev. And I've been Rev. Been a different version of Rev, at least sometimes, but I'm Rev. That's my name, it's who I am. Maybe it's not who I've always been, or some other mystical hokey-ness, but it's still my functional true name, for such that I even have a true name.
My spiritual situation's a little weird, your mileage may (and probably will) vary.
Now that I've made the first step into turning this front page into a blog (possibly again), I think I'll sign off. For now... Dun dun DUN! Eh, I've really got nothing actually planned, I'm just goofing around. It's not in my nature to hide things, and I actually intend to be forthcoming in these things until such time as it doesn't make sense no mores. If that ever happens. I'm more likely to post that something has spoiler alerts if I'm gonna talk about a project or something and then do a link to the post on a different page, and still just write whatever the hell I want. 'Course, who knows how things'll change should actual people come here someday. I know! My lack of any and all advertising will surely deter the devils! BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA! Yanno, the reason I use "Bwa-ha-ha" is actually issue either 74 or 75 of the Archie Sonic comics. I direct a sniff of disdain at "Mwah-ha-ha".
