Harper and Goblin Three

^_^ So, the third Harper and Goblin pic, this one be sexy adult Harper! Yep.
I like the coloring on this, quite a lot. Though it's difficult to get highlights on white hair. Granted, I cheat, and use a very pale blue, so I can get the shadows and highlights with the dodge and burn tool in the first place. Eh, gives a richer color anyway. The only places I ever use real white nowadays are in the whites of eyes, eye shines, and teeth. The teeth's a stylistic thing, cuz, really, no one's teeth are really bright white. No item is really uncorrupted white, either. So, I don't feel bad about my "cheating". Anyway.
^_^ The background on this was fun. I love abusing brushes to make things easy, though the hard line between the grass and trees kinda bugs me. I might yet go back and play with that. Otherwise, this turned out pretty good. I put a layer of very dark blue on...oh, I don't remember, about 40% opacity to approximate the color effect of the darkness, at least over Harper and Goblin. The background was dark from the beginning. There's a circle gradient coming off from Harper, as she's meant to be just starting to use her darkness-magic.
Disregard some of that, I just went back and got rid of the hard line between the grass and trees, and accentuated some of the highlights in Harper's hair. So yeah. Anyway, I dunno. Oh, right. Chain-whip, bitches.
