Well, good news, the next Short is done. The bad news: I'm still not posting it 'til Tuesday. The worse news: It's only one panel. Well, whatever, it's still pretty funny. Well, I think it is, anyway. Still, it's nice to be back on track, now I'll hopefully be able to keep up with the schedule.
I'm sorry that the tagboard seems to not be working, I don't really know what's wrong. It seems to be the Tagboard company themselves, because Lem's tagboard, at Greyscale Arts, which is provided by the same company, doesn't seem to be working either. So, yeah. I'll get to working on getting a new tagboard, so this doesn't happen again.
Well, other than that, I've finally figured out how I'm going to crank out all these stories I have built up inside me. First, I'll finish the Shorts. After that, I'll put out The Shocker; which is thirteen chapters long, and most of them are pretty short. Once both of those are finished, I'll start putting out that damned "comic with a plot" that I've been threatening for ages. Mmmyep. The Shocker is definately not going to be drawn in "Shocker style", i.e. with all straight lines. It takes too long, and ultimately looks shitty. Well, now that that's all settled, I can blissfully continue with my work. Yeah..."blissfully".

Meh, it's a late update, but I did get Tsuki's Shorts thirty-eight up last night. It was late, yes, but not as late as the last one. Mmmyep
In other news, I've been working on transfering all the pictures in my gallery onto there own pages, with little blurbs about each. So far, I'm a little bit more than halfway done...I think. Well, you can see what I've done in my gallery. I've just followed the order on the dropbar, I've gotten through Sleep Deprivation (black and white). Yep.
EDIT: Right, almost forgot. I also put a new picture up in my gallery. I won't describe it here...it wouldn't make sense. But yeah, it's there. Oh! Also, there's a new Adventures of Lundo and The Plaid. This would be Number IV: The Next Episode. Check it out.

The Adventures of Lundo and The Plaid is a photo-comic, featuring Lundy himself as The Plaid, the world's greatest superhero...who does nothing. In the past, I've been quite sceptical of photo-comics. If the actors don't know what they're doing, these comics can turn out very static. Lundy, however, has a thorough understanding of the script (he should, he wrote it!), and delivers emotion very well. ^_^ I lurve this thing...

^_^;;; Eh-heh, you know that Short I was supposed to have up for Wednesday? Definately Friday's Short. Damn, I have been so apathetic lately. I can barely motivate myself to do anything...even the things I love...da hen desu...
^_^ But, on the good side of the equation, I found this cat that I've fallen in love with! Haha, of course, I've only seen her through Petfinder.com. I e-mailed the shelter she's with tonight...mmyep. Picture!
Yeah, it's a really poor-quality picture, but I didn't take it...^_^;; if I had, the pixelation would be even worse, because I'd either have to use my camera-phone or scan a developed one.

Okay, so, this week is really, really wierd. Right. I'm not sure if I'm going to put today's Short out yet...for one, I haven't even finished penciling it. I'm sorry. This week's been really wierd. I was scrambling to get Friday's Short up, despite being in the company of my parents, whom I really don't like to work near, as they're the only people who could cause me a lot of shit and inconvenience over subject matter. Then I had to go to my cousin's graduation party in Michigan, and forgot my script. ^_^;; That's the main reason, really. When I finally got home, it was about two AM, and I just wanted to sleep. Worked in the morning, went out to dinner with my parents...I am really sick of them...and finally was able to sign on. ^_^ That was Sunday night, and it was awesome. I got my domain (YAY!), my parents' consent to get a kitty (^_^YAY!), and found out Ashy was back (YAY!!). So then, last night was spent working on the new Dark Wind Studios, as well as this afternoon. So, yeah. That's why I'm behind. I'll try to get this Short up tonight, but it might not happen.

^_^ Wheee! The new Short is now up. Looks like I'm going to be able to update them on Tuesdays and Fridays after all! Yeah. I'm really tired, got up early to go to the Cubs game (they actually won! this never happens!), then...went to the game, and after that went to Gameworks and played a shitload of DDR. Then I stayed up to finish the Short. Mmmyep.

^_^;; Well, I know I was planning on posting all this stuff later, but whatever...I got bored. So, now there's a new piece in my gallery, as well as a new Invasion. Well, actually, you could have seen the Invasion on the forum, and the thing in my gallery on deviantArt, but whatever. It's new to this site, and therefore "new" in general.
In other news, there's a new link up in the Linkage section. It's to a webcomic that I've recently been reading obsessively. ^_^ This is actually what spurred my seething urge to re-design Tsuki. Ah, I finally figured it out! ^_^ I found out what was giving me so much pain...I was building her head differently. I mean, I knew I was building her head differently than I was all my other characters...whom I have posted little to no art of...but yeah, I didn't know that the fact I was building her head differently was causing me such seething PAIN. ^_^ I am happy now. I can get on with all my projects!

Tsuki's Shorts number thirty-five is now up and available. Yeah, I know I said there wouldn't be a Short this week, but I was wrong. I meant to post the first page of the still unnamed "comic with a plot" that I keep threatening you with, but I got behind, what with Tsuki's re-vamp, 'n' stuff. I could have posted something a few pages in that I started work on, but I wanted to put the story up in chronological order. The first chapter is going to be confusing at first, just because I'm whacking you over the head with a universe that I've been developing for over a year now. ^_^ One of those, "It's my world you just live in it," types of things.
Anyway, back to the Short. This is the second one that I've ever done in which the work encompassed the space of one day. 'Course, the other on looked a lot better, and I didn't cheat on it. This was based on something that happened to me today. Actually, on something that I did today. Granted, it's warped in the multiple ways that all my Shorts are warped. This is the first appearence of Tsuki's re-vamped design. Actually, the whole point of this thing was for me to work with using the re-vamp. I'd actually started another Short in this very same manner, using only a pen...but that one was just so horrible that I couldn't finish it. ^_^ So I turned it into a design page! Mmmyep. I'm resourceful. Meh, I'm still not quite as happy with the way I draw the re-vamp as I'd like to be, but yeah. Expect another comic-thing Friday, along with updates to the Invasion Gallery and my gallery.

^_^;; Heh, I should have done this yesterday, but whatever. I'm late, so sue me...well, don't sue me, I really have no money, but yeah...this was done, I just forgot to post it. ^_^;; Yeah...so, I'll tell you what I'm rambling about now...
There's a new piece in my gallery. ^_^ It's some Shadow/Tails yaoi fanart! This is my first real yaoi to date. I mean, I did that crappy Knuckles/Sonic shonen ai pic that one time, but let's face it: it sucks. There's next to no emotion, it's just...meh. Then my coloring sucks serious ass. Yup. But this is better. I took a break from trying to use MS Paint to color stuff, and this turned out pretty nice. ^_^;; Kinda shows that I'm out of practice with non-digital media, tho'. Well, I've got a lot of other new stuff in the works. ^_^;;; Just hope I can manage to finish it. I was spazzing so bad last night. I had to go on a homicidal rampage in my mind and kill all the little voices telling me all the things I need to do before it was quiet enough in there to even attempt to sleep. Saaa...

^_^ Well, the thirty-fourth Short is now up for your consumption. I know the first panel is hard to read, but don't worry...it's not important. I copypasted song lyrics, and made them fit. Not a big deal. Not important. They have nothing pertinant to do with the rest of the Short, so don't worry about it. Well, that's all for now. I know, I know, it's a short Short update. Feh. No one's reading it anyway.

=_= Urgh, I am so sorry that this place looked like shit for so much of today. I've been working on putting this new layout up (spiffy, ne?), so yeah. I deleted all the old images, from the old layout, but then it decided to go and be icky and not let me upload the new ones. I finally got them up, and now everything kicks ass. Well, I'm actually right in the middle of putting this layout onto all the pages right now, so "more later".
By the way, the Short's coming along very nicely. I might even have finished it tonight, if my Sharpie hadn't died. Ah, well. I'll have it up before midnight.

Whoo-hoo! An update that's not horribly, horribly late at night...waitaminit...why is that a good thing!? I love night! And after all, this is "Dark Wind Studios", not "Bright Wind Studios", or some nonsense like that! Saaa...whatever.
^_^ Hehe, this is another one of my pointless updates, where I procrastinate on working on a project by reporting my progress on it. Hehe. Urm, I'm just gonna post my to-do list, then say say where I'm at on each thing:
- Tsuki's Shorts #34 (completely penciled, panel dividers inked)
- Skye, a Fancharacter, Shadow and Tails' progeny (don't ask...but this'll have two colored versions, one by me, one by Ashy. ^_^ WHEEE!)
- Bleeding Heart (a depressing pic of Tsuki, mostly colored)
- Soulless (another depressing pic of Tsuki, mostly inked, not scanned)
- Fanart of Link (references in my posession, but don't expect it soon)
- Fanart of Kira (need to get this done soon...but haven't started)
- Fanart of Manic (the furthest of this fanart, cuz I know what I want to do...but not begun)
- KiraxAmy Slash (waaaaay in the future)
- SonicxShadow Slash (I really want to do this, but even further in the future)

So, I found a site that provides free forums...well, maybe a more accurate term would be collided into. I belong to a forum that uses this site as a host, and the place is pretty nice...however, I'm not going to do all the work of building this place if no one's going to use it. I really do have other things worth doing, and putting a lot of time and effort into something that's ultimately taken for granted or abandoned isn't high on my list. So, it's all up to you. Post your replies on the Tagboard of Doom.

^_^ There's a new piece in my gallery. This one's some fanart to Ashy/Kioko-chan's "Magic of Nintendo" story. ^_^ This was a lot of fun to make, and it got rid of the mild artist's block I'd been suffering. So, yay! I actually have a few new pieces that are all finished and ready to put up, but due to the new gallery format with the dropbar 'n' everything, I'll be posting them one each week...so that there's a "featured"...thingy, each one. That way my little blurbs actually get read. Saa...if I could do it the way I want, I'd just make a new page for each piece, and post it in it's "full" size...then the gallery page could just be a means of accessing it. Unfortunately, this host won't let me have more than fifty files at a time, and that includes those of webpages. -_- It suxxors... Saa...
