The Links

Lundo Pictures
Lundo Pictures, where magic and good movies are made. I'm in some stuff, and designed the original logo...yeah. Anyway, it's a really 1337 site, so ph34r it. PH34R IT!!!! You had better be ph34ring it.

This is the site of The Shadow Plushy. Um, originally, there was sorta going to be some sorta site running-gag, but, I'm lazy and didn't do stuff with this. Sadly. I've though of re-vamping this, changing The Shadow Plushy to Ornexos, for fun, which would actually make more sense...but, I'm lazy.

Webcomics Wind Reads

YU+ME: dream
^_^ Okay, this is one of my favorite comics. The premise is a girl, named Fiona Thomson, goes to Catholic school, has no friends, and deals with life by sleeping. It's a yuri (well, the American term would be more "shojo ai," but that's not actually a Japanese term, so meh) comic, and very well-written, very well drawn. By Megan Rose Gedris, and it does update very regularly. So, awesome.

El Goonish Shive
My god do I love these comics. These top two are the ones I love the most, really they are. So, EGS...premise. And without spoilers. Well, it starts out pretty random, the first story arc is about a goo monster one of the characters "brought to life," and the two main characters at that point have to go catch/fight/kill it. ^_^ It really is fun. After that, the story gets more advanced, and in-depth. There's a lot of transformations, which is awesome, one of the main characters, Tedd, has a transformation gun. Oh, so much fun. Currently on partial hiatus, Dan Shive, the writer/artist is having some trouble with his scripts, so is posting a side-storyline in his "EGS:NP," or EGS: Newspaper (the comic was originally done for a school newspaper) section. But, it's really fun, very good times. The art is interesting, and I actually like it a lot. You can see how much his style's grown and change. Highly recommended.

Suicide For Hire
An amazing comic by Rafael Medina. Really, really incredible; this is well-written, well-drawn, and well thought-out. Um, and it's furry. Honestly, if you read no other comics on this list, read this one...well, only if you have a relatively sadistic sense of humor. Tho', even if you don't, there is a high possibility you may enjoy this anyway. Updated Sundays.

So, this comic updates pretty rarely, but my gods, it's fun. It's a comic of no plot and ridiculous silliness. ^_^ A lot of disjoint fooling around, and comics that have nothing to do with each other--plot is a rarity, but yeah. Funny as hell. So, yeah. If you like The Shorts, you'll like this. Or, I've always thought so.

Emergency Exit
Another comic by NJ Huff. It's one of those "apartment comics". You know the ones, a bunch of people live in an apartment together, with the neighbors, and crazy shit happens...usually involving demons. Yep. One of those.

Yosh!
I SWEAR I DIDN'T STEAL THE GA STORYLINE FROM THIS!!! I only discovered this comic in...what, late August 2006...? Long after the initial draft of Group Anthrax was first written, and one of the things GA was initially based off of was a dream I had in elementary school. Maybe fourth grade. Anyway, this comic's about some otaku, a catgirl, ninjas, androids, demons, and the like, in a world very like our own where "The Wierding" occured "ten years ago". By Philip Brown, co-written by Alex Petersen. Wow, he's even got a co-writer. I should contact this dude. Anyway, he's friends with the Tom who makes TwoKinds. Yep...

Dominic Deegan: Oracle For Hire
A fun, daily updated comic by Mookie. It's been running for quite a long time, and has some great, extensive archives. It's really funny, but I warn you, it'll have you full of bad puns!

VG Cats
VG Cats. C'mon, who hasn't heard of VG Cats. Done by Scott Ramsoomair.

Applegeeks
If you know MegaTokyo, you've probably heard of Applegeeks. ^_^ Piro and Hawk are frieeeeends... ^_^ Written by Ananth Panagariya, with art by Mohammad "Hawk" F. Haque, it's a very fun webcomic. Really good comedy, and incredible artwork. Great Photoshop work...yeahhhhhhh...^_^ I love the style changes that happen for the more serious sequences, too. This is just really, really fun.

Prolly the most notorious webcomic I know of, and the first I ever really started reading. Art and writing by Piro, or Fred Gallager, it's about an otaku and a gamer who get stranded in Tokyo...and stuff happens...^_^ you get the picture. Eh, lotsa readers I've run into complain that it went too emo lately, which I can see, but...that's sorta how Piro thinks. *shrug* I dunno, I'm surprised it took him so long to take it to this point. Monday-Wednesday-Friday updates.
