Twelve hours later, I have posted those images which were promised to you...and then some. I have two photos I took, one that's gotten quite old, another that's only been around a few weeks; Ornexos' character-design page; and a pencil drawing of a girl's eye. I like how it these all turned out, overall. They makes me happy.

Although I had planned to upload the finished images of Ornexos, and whatever else is in my sketchbook to my computer last night, and then to PhotoBucket, a blackout in my neighborhood prevented it. So, while this update should include news of what's new...well, it doesn't. So expect some new material tomorrow. Mmyep. Also, I've finally started work on Tsuki's Shorts number twenty-two; it's only two panels, so I should be able to finish it pretty soon.
Another interesting tidbit: I've completed the layouts of The Shocker, for chapters one through three, and decided to start penciling it as soon as I can figure out the whole situation with paper. I'm not quite sure about what I'll do to publicize it here yet. Maybe I'll post the first chapter...it's short, and although it accomplishes its purpose as an introductionary piece well, doesn't reveal the plot...well, what of a plot there is. There is a reason I'm doing this particular story as my first, somewhat experimental comic: I have no emotional attachment to it. As a result, there's less of an inhibition on my part to try new things, to learn the process. If I fuck up anywhere, it won't kill me, because it's not so important that I get it right the first time. I'd rather take the stories that I like, the characters that I love, and work with them at a later date. I realize that nobody was questioning me, but I felt like posting my reasons for doing this series. And already I've learned so much. The fact is, a person only learns so much from doing multiple one-page Shorts...and I'm derriving a lot of valuble knowledge from Shocker. Like I said, just felt like posting this here. I'm finally home, have my car back, and was able to post stuff on this site from my own computer. Yes, I am happy now. This particular update should be much more brief.
I've gone back to my old layout, but kept the blue color scheme. That's one of the few things I dislike about the FreeWebs host, the choice of layouts is quite limited. Of course, I could fork over the monies to get a premium account, or even get a domain from somewhere, but I don't have the monies...actually, it's more I don't have a credit card, and don't want my parents to know about the existance of this place. My mom reacted bad enough to the profile I had up once, through AOL...yup.
Heh, but I digress. Go to the Linkage page, I've now added a link to GeForce Computing, a site belonging to my friend Parker, who knows more about computers than anyone else I've ever met. Additionally, some of the links are now pretty. As opposed to before, when they weren't pretty. Now they are. In the Gallery, I've added: a logo for United Colors, my school's GSA; the color version of Sleep Deprivation; and an old drawing of Kurt Wagner, or Nightcrawler...the version from X-men: Evolution. That's pretty much it. Mmyep.

Well, here I am, posting from Florida again. We leave from here tomorrow evening; which is very, very good, judging from how much difficulty I was having trying to spell "tomorrow". But aside from that, I really miss everyone back at home, having access to the internet through my own computer (even if I do only have dial-up), and being able to...exist out from the scrutiny of my parents. I miss thinking, hell, I even miss school, I miss my car and being able to drive, should I need to go somewhere, I miss my freedom, and goddamn, I miss staying up 'til 4 AM and waking up well after noon!!! I haven't done either all week! I go to bed later on school nights!!!
Well, I'll stop complaining now. Bottom line: I'm homesick, this week has been murder; despite occuring in a tropical place. I have serious doubts as to whether or not darkness can even exist here. For some reason, it doesn't even seem dark at night, even at 11 PM. This is not something I cope with well.
Well, this is an "Updates" section, not a blog, so to the effect of actual news...I've been working a little bit on the idea of another story. It's another attempt at working the main character of the Demon's Dream and Yokai no Yume storyline into her own story. Yes, I'm talking about Tsuki, the character I use to represent myself, and who pummels the hell out of Harry Paratestes almost every appearance she makes to The Shocker. Ever since I started conceptualizing her, I've wanted to do more with her than use her as an avatar-type-thingy. So, this will be the...I believe it's third now...attempt to do a story with her. This one branches off completely from the world of Sanyoku, which was previously the focal point, a demon-world with an instable government. I still might use some of the better aspects of that particular reality, but it won't be very important...in fact, Kisama, Kurai, Boki, and Wasui all might get cut entirely. Maybe they'll get they're own story later, but don't count on it. Right.
Most of the readers at this point will have no clue what I'm talking about. Perhaps I'll post the old stories again, just so you can understand a little of what I'm talking about, and understand why I scrapped them in the first place. The voice wasn't what I wanted for one, for another I just couldn't figure out how to explain the world without having too much exposition between characters who already knew what was going on. A narrator would have helped, but I was to stubborn to put one in. Of course, I also talk about The Shocker quite a lot, and anyone who happens to venture to this site and bothers to read about all this will have no idea what I'm talking about...because I've never chased you down and forced you to edit for me. I don't post it here because I'm hoping to get the story published as a comic...probably within the same book as the "new" story idea I'm working on. Of course, I want to get further into production of Shocker before I do a lot of work on the new storyline, which at the moment will probably be titled Shadow's Fall, mostly because I'm already finding a lot of things I should have done differently, and I've only just started doing layouts (that's what I learned, to do layouts simultaneously with script-writing). Mmyep. This update is already too long, you can tell I'm overly bored...and I am SO SICK OF LAYOUTS!!! Still eleven chapters to go...

Most anyone who bothers to come here probably knows me IRL, as well as online. These privledged (can't spell, don't care) few, know that I do not take myself anywhere near as seriously as I pretend to here; as well as that I live in Illinois. The whole "living in Illinois" is the more important aspect of this particular update, by the way. However, I continue to digress. The true reason I put this update here is to do just that: update. I am currently on spring break, here in Florida with my family, as a result, while this post would normally be ennumerated at 12:25 PM, were I home, the time is an hour later in Florida. Why is this so important? That is an hour of my own life that I have skipped, overlooked, missed entirely. Here in Florida, my time is spent entirely differently. I post from a computer with a greasy keyboard, in an internet cafe I found entirely by chance. My laptop, with anything that I might upload, or write throughout the entirety of this week is a two-hour plane ride away...I apologize. I should just delete this whole whiney rant. Instead, I'm going to try and salvage it.
I've finished the new Lundo Pictures logo, and uploaded it, so it should be up shortly. The color version of Sleep Deprivation is finished, however, as I was attempting to explain in the previous paragraph, it has not been uploaded, therefore it must fester within my laptop, hundreds of miles away. Character designs for Q, Z, and Ornexos are almost ready to be scanned. Actually, Ornexos is ready to be scanned, Z I want to color, Q needs to be inked, although I think his penciling is done. An image of Shocker, Pothead, and Purple Penis together is nearly done, however, I'm having some difficulty designing Purple Penis' clothes, as I want him to be a submissive (oh, quit whining, he was originally going to be a nudist, but I needed him to have a collar, for all the times Pothead tries to threaten him). I think that's it for now.

Alright, so I didn't do anything here yesterday, so sue me. To quell your pathetic fretting, I will post today, although nothing new is being posted here today. At the moment, I'm working on a colored version of Sleep Deprivation, which I will post whenever I've finished and uploaded it. Expect the entire process to last a few days, the weekend before me (as this is currently a Friday) is a full and hectic one; besides which I've a project for English to complete. Character designs are underway for the three main characters in the comic I'm in the process of writing, Ornexos. The names of which are: Z, Q, and Ornexos. Aside from that, I'm planning on creating a new logo for Lundo Pictures...one that includes the shocker, as a reference to the plethora of jokes relating to such in the movies. To the uninitiated, the shocker is a...hand...gesture...thing...used during sex, where the index and middle finger are extended together, along with the pinky. This is then used to fuck the female (only females can be shocked, in all technicallity), by inserting the index and middle fingers into the cunt, while the pinky slides into the bunghole. Learn something new every day, ne? I'm currently working on a comic where the main character is a superhero with electric powers, called the Shocker...by no cooincidence. His partners are Purple Penis, and Pothead; the villains include Pussy and Cunt, as well as others. The narrator? Harry Paratestes...who, desite the fact that I routinely pummel him in the comic, is one of my favorite characters (the other is killed within the same chapter she's introduced...either that or the next chapter, I can't quite remember at the moment, and am too lazy to look). So, that's a look at some of the projects I'm working on at the moment. Expect more about Ornexos in the future. NOTE: The comic about Shocker, the superhero, is the one for which I developed the "Shocker style" I've mentioned repeatedly throughout the site. Hence the name.

Although I dislike creating updates with the same date, enough work was done in the last thirteen-plus hours since the previous update that I find it necessary to do so. Pat t3h Terrorist now resides within T3h Gallery, along with the now-colored version of the Sonic and Knuckles image. And I have a counter now. W00t. I SHALL KNOW WHEN YOU ARE HERE! BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!

First off, I'm going to apologize for my several day absence. However, expect more of them. This absence was due entirely to a) my sister's hogging of the internet, b) my painfully slow internet connection at any time that most of humanity is awake (I'm on a school computer at the moment), and c) I dunno about "c"...there really is no third reason, it just flows better to have reasons a, b, and c. Well, that's that. I've added Tsuki's Shorts number twenty one, so that is now available for your viewing "pleasure". On a related note, I've changed the list of Shorts to ennumerate in decending order (that's high numbers to low numbers, asinine swine). I also added several new images to T3h Gallery, two of my own (Headache and Sleep Deprivation), and two created by Lerxst, my best friend in the whole wide world (80s iPod and Title). So far as the "upcoming" work: I've finished coloring the image of Sonic and Knuckles, and hope to upload it into Photobucket tonight. So, say bye-bye to the black and white version, though, if past performance sets any precident, you may still have a few days still to make vigorous love to it. Enjoy this while it lasts.
EDIT: I changed the site template. I'll fix the colors on the tagboard later, it won't show up on the school computers. Bleh.

I just noticed that the last two updates have began with the word "well"...of course, I only realized this because I was about to do the same thing again. Now then. I continue. The gallery is now...with stuff in it. Not full. I can still add to it. Right. Granted, I still have images that I mean to put up, yet haven't scanned yet. I also have about three images that I would like to put up here that have been scanned, but I'm pretty sure PhotoBucket would delete me if I uploaded them. They're not that bad: two hentai drawings, one in which nothing "horrible" is even seen, because hair got in the way when it came time for me to draw that in...but also one where that Kisama guy I keep talking about is impaling a woman through the chest. Ah, well. I drew the blood strangely there, anyway. In general, I'm very happy with the progress made here at Dark Wind these past two days. Next step: try to make thumbnails to use for links to pictures. Also, I need to scan and upload some of those things I mentioned: for example, Tsuki's Shorts number twenty one is finished and ready, I just need to...digitize...it. Besides that, I'm working on some character design pages for the Shocker series, which so far I've merely alluded to with such comments as "this was drawn in 'Shocker style'." So, I'll be putting in more of that sort of thing. That's all I can think of for now.

Well, if you're an intelligent being...and one would hope you are, seeing as how you found my site...you probably have the audacity to wonder what's going on here. And that would be a good question. However, seeing as how I define a "good question" as one to which no one knows the answer, the mere asking of this question is not overly helpful. In all honesty, even I don't fully comprehend what is going on here.
I created this site with the intention to do something interesting. And by "interesting" I mean from my point of view. So, when I began, the thought of a site onto which I would post artwork and stories, as well as a relatively extensive Japanese (in romanji) to English dictionary floated vaugely in my mind. Yet this very night I have deleted the only stories that ever came to this site, and not a single image has, as of the time I type this, graced this page. Why? Various reasons, most of them stemming from my laziness, but some from ignorance.
So, "what is going on here?" Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Welcome to the updates of Dark Wind. I hope your brain explodes.
