Tsuki's Shorts 40: Knowing Shit
I'm amazed that I got this done on time. What's more, I'm amazed that I got this done with time to spare. ^_^ I am very happy. Finally figured out how quickly I need to work to get this stuff done on time. Day one: penciling, day two: inking, day three: digital crap. The digital crap is the most frustrating for me. Meh, whatever, it's worth it. ^_^ I like how these new Shorts look. Mmmyep.
My arm itches. Two nights ago, I was laying in bed, asleep, when this bug started bothering me. I assumed it was a fly, and thrashed around a bit to get it off; you know, in that barely awake part of sleep, in which one is aware of their surroundings enough to react to them a bit. This bug would not go away, and finally, I felt a pain near my elbow. I still thought it was a fly, but was now more awake. I lay there for a few moments, long enough to realize that this really hurt, and that the pain wasn't fading as quickly as it should. So, I wake up completely, and go to my bathroom to look at the area. I was still pretty groggy, so it took me a bit to find the injury. It was no fly bite. By this time, I was pretty sure I knew what had happened, so I turned on the lights to look at my bed. On my pillow, he still lay there, taunting me with his dark eyes. That damn wasp. I went back to my bathroom and grabbed a Kleenex. "You obviously don't know who you're messing with," I told the death-wasp. I killed it. I often kill things that hurt me. That hermit crab I'd gotten, which had clamped down onto my finger so hard I had to tear my own flesh to get him off. The evil moth, what made me feel fear. And now, the wasp. Damn wasp. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!! A PAINFUL DEATH TO YOU, MISTER WASP!!! ^_^ Yep. Remember that was at 4:10 AM, two nights ago, and my arm is only now starting to feel better, and be less hard, swollen, and producing much heat. 'Course, I also had four Benadryl today. ^_^ I swear, I'm gonna OD on some dumb over the counter drug someday, just because the doses that you're supposed to take don't affect me. I think I developed an immunity, as a result of all the crap I've had to take over the years for my damn migraines...which I've had since kindergarden. -_- Not fun.
Yep, the whole story about the wasp was completely pointless to put here. I just wanted to save it for posterity, and haven't visited my LJ this week. ^_^
